Charlene Smith

Charlene has over 20 years experience in the Vancouver Advertising industry. She has managed the accounts as well as production for clients such as Boston Pizza, Rogers Cable TV and the pay services of SuperChannel, TSN, A&E and CNN. She also managed and produced a monthly National flyer program for IRLY Bird Lumber and People's Drug Mart in addition to the launch and grand opening of MetroTown Shopping Centre.

Previous agency affiliations include Y&R, WCJ, O&M & BBDO.

Prior to forming in•house recruiting services with Carole Wilson, Charlene was Managing Partner of CheckMark Productions, which was formed in 1994 and specialized in full service production and fulfillment of direct mail campaigns. CheckMark produced an average of 5 million packages per year with total average billings in excess of $3.75 mil.

Charlene has been spotting talent and hiring freelance and contract professionals for more than 20 years. It's this experience that enables Charlene to listen to her client's requests and find just the right professional to fit their needs.

Charlene is a member of the CDMA and the SDMA.

Carole Wilson

Carole Wilson brings more than 25 years of marketing experience to in-house recruiting services. She is especially passionate about Database Marketing and is considered one of the industry's true leaders.

Prior to founding in•house recruiting services with Charlene Smith, Carole was Director of Marketing with Maclean Hunter and Telemedia Publishing. In 1992 Carole formed her own Database Marketing Group working with such clients as BC TEL, BC TEL Mobility, BC TEL Sympatico, BC Gas, Keg Restaurants, Pacific Press, Travel Underwriters Insurance, Seaboard Life.

Carole is able to draw on her vast Marketing experience to assist her clients to recruit top-notch talent with just the right Marketing experience.

Carole is an active member in the Vancouver Database Marketing community, as a Board Member of the CDMA, participating on the BCIT Advertising Advisory Board and consulting for the Alzheimer Society Fund Development committee.
